Outstanding performance over the RS super deluxe ultimate or whatever the bike comes stock with. The kinematic on the evil doesn’t require the switch to be used to change the characteristics of the shock, but the switch is definitely noticeable. When doing a crazy grind up I’ll switch it over. But unlike a climb switch, the shock keeps working just changes the characteristics. So far a great experience all around.
I selected this coil based on a recommendation from my local bike shop to enhance small bump sensitivity compared to the Rockshox that came with my V3 Sentinel. It certainly aligns with the principle of getting what you pay for. Not only does it offer two distinct chambers for customizing the bike's setup for both plush downhill rides and firmer support for regular trail riding, but it also provides excellent product support from the experts at Push Industries. I have contacted them a few times with questions about my trail experiences, and they have provided helpful adjustments over the phone that have further improved the ride. I am a strong advocate for supporting companies that deliver a great product and continue to provide excellent service after the purchase. I can confidently say that this company has earned my loyalty for as long as I am able to ride a bike.
I run this and a top end air shock. I preferred the air shock in the beginning because I didn't understand somethings about the 11/6 and I do own a 21 Turbo Levo so it has a very progressive rear triangle not to mention a Cascade link throws all sorts of curve balls but once I got the right spring and settings I found this 11/6 to be AMAZING and smokes all others. I have it set up for rear settings- PLUSH for plowing down trails in comfort and front settings- tighter for blasting jumps. It is truly awesome. The guys at Push are geeks and love to help you out with configurations. Emailing them is easiest. I just sent my back for a fresh rebuild/re-seal to make it a Elevensix S. They were awesome about it and got it done early. I can't say enough about Push. Excellent customer service. Thanks Push! You guys rock!
Purchased the Elevensix after trying many other shocks. Once inexperienced it, game over. Bought the Nine One fork. All I can say is it exploits your bikes capabilities and has you shaking your head why you didn’t do this sooner. Since have bought another for my second bike.
