Made from premium Ultra High Tensile Suspension Spring Alloy, Optimum Body Diameter (OBD) Hypercoils feature a unique design concept that adjusts the body diameter of the spring relative to the end coils. The OBD design enables Hyperco to take full advantage of its ultra high tensile material by optimizing the applied stress through adjusting the spring's body diameter. This design resists the bowing of the spring producing greater spring linearity and eliminating spring rub on the shock body.

It has coils. When compressed, it rebounds. The finish is nice. It fits as expected. I can't think of a way that a spring would exceed my expectations.

Ordered a spring for my PUSH shock. I haven't used it yet since the shock blew on my first ride (on a used bike I purchased). I have to wait until September.

My 11-6 had a 625 lb. spring. Im a bit older, gained 12 lbs, and wanted to stiffen up the suspension a bit. A 675 lb. Push Hypercoil spring was what I needed. Adjusted the sag, added some rebound, and changed the valve presets a little and it's just like a brand new shock. You have read the comments here before, and yes it is expensive. But its the best damn shock in the world, bar none. Thanks Push industries for all you do.
I’ve had several 11/6 over the years with many HyperCoil Springs of various weights. This one showed up with an unpainted bare spot. I asked customer support about it and was told this is an acceptable and common result of their contract manufacturer hanging the spring for painting without rotating and coating the area blocked by the hanger. I do a more thorough job in my yard with a rattle can…. For a very high end shock, the finish standard for these coils should be higher. The coil works well, has a great feel, and does not deform on compression enough to rub the shock or frame etc. Does what it should.
If you are lucky enough to give your kid a hand-me-down frame with an ElevenSix fitted, you'll need a different spring in all likelihood. I do hope Push can address paint chipping and corrosion which has plagued two of these springs in my hands. Of course the spring works and brings joy, rust patches or no.

Needed to dial the spring rate after some suspension changes. PUSH not only supplies these in hand 25lb increments but is very flexible in working with customers on exchanged to dial in the right sag.
Push shows why they're the best. The shock is excellent, but the service is top notch. I had issues with the shipping company damaging mine (they lost it) and Push came through to get me back out on the trails as soon as was possible. Clearly I wouldn't waste my time with Fox (returned my X2 3 times for failure). I want a solution that's robust and they stand behind!

Actually received my SV8. Extremely happy with this set up. I have it tuned for trail/comfort and it has changed my ride significantly. I no longer suffer from ankle pain and I love how my bike sticks to the trail. P.S. I also have an Elevensix on my second bike and it is worth every cent! top quality American made product!
Shock is almost perfect. Add a climb switch and it would be perfect. Very easy to setup and hands down better than the Rock Shox Super Deluxe Ultimate RCT Coil it replaced.
Moving from a Factory DPX2 to a used Push11-6, I didn't know exactly what to expect. The tuning service was very easy and accurate and now my Evil has never felt more cush on chunky DH!

the only thing i notice is on the paint job at the of the coil rusted.. i suggest we custom the shocks might as well custom on the paint job on coils or some choices on color of the spring...
